Langkawi is a popular tax-free island off the northwest coast of Peninsular Malaysia. It attracts many tourists each year, and is home to some of Malaysia’s most luxurious hotel properties. It has attracted a number of people who have moved to Malaysia under the Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) programme. An enterprising Australian expat and his German wife (who both have MM2H visas) have developed a scenic plot of land in Langkawi and are building four beautiful villas on them.
